About
I have always had a creative side and enjoyed working on multiple projects at one time. It drives my husband crazy! However, it is very therapeutic for me. When I worked in Human Resources I spent many a weekend, and even some week nights when I had trouble sleeping, working on different projects. I did some photography, created signs for my office that were uplifting (if you've ever worked in HR you get this), I would make gifts for other people, I even created logos/designs for the bakery I dream of having one day. This became how I dealt with my stress and cleared my mind. Now, I am a SAHM to a feisty little 3 year old princess. While these days my stress is different, I still do a lot of DIY. Not only for the stress, but sometimes its because of the cost. There are lots of things that I see and I want, but it's not always in our budget. I can usually look at something and tell my husband, "we can totally make that!" and it's true. I've even started making a lot of our household products as well. I started a holistic journey almost 2 years ago and the more my husband and I learn about the products we've been using in our home the more encouragement we have to seek safer/healthier alternatives. I can't wait to share with you some of my projects and tips with a little parenting humor in between!
